In the spring of 2011, Wylco Recycling began a new venture in the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area.  Looking to increase the collection of recyclable waste in a cost effective and convenient manner, General Manager, John Roban, requested permission to construct a single-stream recycling center near the Williamson County Landfill in Taylor, Texas.  Keeping on with the trend of reducing costs and environmental impact in the area, Roban decided to build his center using steel.

Steel is one of the only building materials that is 100 percent recycle, and that produces the least amount of by-product waste during construction. When Roban contacted Allied Buildings, he was not only reassured of the environmentally-friendliness of his structure, but was also provided with a range of “green” customization packages, which included energy efficient industrial insulation that would help reduce operational costs.

Allied Buildings delivered not only an environmentally conscious product, but offered support during the 8 week construction process of the center and through the short 6 months that it took to install all the equipment and get the facility up and running.

Today, the Wylco Single-Stream Recycling Center has proven to be a success. The 37,500 sq. ft. facility now employs 25 full-time employees, and process about 6 tons of recyclable material per month.

Acero nace de cenizas

Un trágico accidente en Octubre del 2013 destruyó una bodega en la ciudad de Georgetown, Guyana poniendo en pausa el sueño de la familia Beepat, que había logrado establecerse como una de las más grandes distribuidoras de productos comestibles del país.  Después de varios meses luchando por mantener su distribuidora a flote rentando bodegas alrededor de la ciudad, el Señor Dennis Beepat, CEO de Beepats, decidió reconstruir con Allied Buildings.

“Durante las conversaciones con Allied, nuestros ingenieros y nuestra familia sentimos que eran el vendedor mas amigable y confiable,” dijo el Señor Beepat. “Se tomaron el tiempo de explicarnos todos los aspectos que debe tener una estructura como esta. Allied asistió al Señor y a su equipo en la construction de una bodega de 75,400 pies cuadrados, un edificio administrativo, un taller, y un estacionamiento. La bodega fue personalizada para incluir sistemas modernos de control de almacenamiento, manejo, e inventario.

En cada paso, desde la inspección del material crudo a la fabricación y la entrega de la estructura, Allied trabajo con el Señor Beepat para cerciorarse que el nacimiento de su nuevo fénix de acero fuera perfecto. En menos de un año después del incendio, el Señor Beepat inauguró su nueva bodega y oficinas administrativas para empezar un nueva y brillante etapa con su negocio familiar.
