Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and dependable Manufacturing Custodian to maintain the cleanliness,
sanitation, and overall orderliness of our manufacturing facility, including production areas,
offices, restrooms, and common spaces. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a
safe, hygienic, and productive environment for all employees, contributing directly to our
operational efficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
● Perform a wide range of cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing,
and vacuuming floors in production areas, warehouses, offices, and common spaces.
● Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and locker rooms, ensuring they are
well-stocked with area supplies.
● Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins regularly, and dispose of waste in designated
areas, including proper handling of any specific manufacturing waste as required.
● Clean and dust surfaces, fixtures, machinery, and equipment, paying close attention to
detail to remove debris, grime, and spills.
● Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.

● Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuum
cleaners, buffers, and pressure washers.
● Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and notify supervisor
when replenishment is needed.
● Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
and safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
● Identify and report any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or major damages to the
supervisor promptly.
● Assist with minor repairs or general maintenance tasks as assigned (e.g., changing light
bulbs, unclogging drains, etc.).
● Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
● Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant quality and safety
regulations specific to the manufacturing environment.
● May assist in setting up or rearranging furniture or equipment for various purposes.
● Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes) as needed,
(training & certification may be required where applicable).
● Coordinate the safe movement, storage, and organization of materials, supplies, and
products to support production workflows.
● Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
● Proven work experience as a custodian, janitor, or cleaner, preferably in a manufacturing,
industrial, or similar environment.
● Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, products, chemicals, and equipment.
● Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment (e.g., floor buffers, vacuum cleaners,
pressure washers).
● Understanding of safety procedures and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
● Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
● Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
● Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to [e.g., 50 pounds] regularly.
● Ability to work in various environmental conditions common to a manufacturing facility
(e.g., varying temperatures, noise levels, potential for dust/debris, wet floors).
● Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating equipment and handling
supplies.

Work Schedule:
● Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (8:00am – 6:00pm)
● Weekends as needed.
Benefits:
● Crouch employees will be eligible for the Allied benefit package at the time of conversion.
