Allied is seeking a Human Resources Generalist who is passionate about people to support our growing team. This role is designed with a high focus on Talent Acquisition and daily HR coordination support, providing assistance during a high-growth phase and manufacturing expansion.
The right candidate will be a strategic partner in attracting top talent while supporting our broader HR initiatives such as onboarding, engagement, employee relations and total rewards.
Individuals with talent acquisition and overall HR experience who are personable, engaging, impeccably organized, and highly motivated will succeed in this role. The Talent Acquisition and HR Coordinator works with the existing HR/Admin team on talent management, training and development, compensation and benefits and HR compliance. The position directly supports the McGregor facility, the HR Supervisor, and liaisons with other Allied campuses to elevate team member engagement and to meet business goals.

Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Post and manage job postings across all Allied platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, internal job board)
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate candidate assessments
- Schedule interviews and manage logistics with hiring managers
- Own the candidate experience from first contact through offer
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate progress
- Draft offer letters and initiate background checks
- Track hiring metrics and assist in developing recruitment reports
- Represent the company at job fairs and support local outreach initiatives
- Collaborate with the HR Supervisor to forecast hiring needs based on business growth
HR Coordinator:
- Assist with employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, promotions, transfers, terminations)
- Maintain employee records and ensure timely data entry into the HRIS system
- Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and procedures
- Support compliance and documentation related to I-9s, E-Verify, and audits
- Help facilitate employee engagement programs and recognition efforts
- Support internal communication initiatives and policy updates
- Assist in the coordination of performance reviews, employee surveys, and training logistics
- Participate in investigations and employee relations matters as appropriate
Position Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in Talent Acquisition and HR support roles, with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in place of degree
- Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and Texas labor laws
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- First-rate organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Friendly and upbeat with a positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills within and outside the organization
- Proficiency in the use of ATS platforms, HRIS systems, MS Office applications, Google Suite applications, and additional related software knowledge
- Strong ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously
- Critical thinking, evaluation, and analytical skills
- Talent and desire to work with high-pressure situations in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work individually and in team environments
- Strong sense of urgency
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred – working proficiency levels
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods working at a computer.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds may be required.
