Two New Steel Buildings Completed in Guyana — and Two More on the Way!

After several successful building deliveries in Guyana, Allied solidified its position as a unique steel building partner for many companies expanding their footprint in the region. Atlantic Marine Supply approached us on the recommendation of our local partners and swiftly chose us to initiate an impressive project: the construction of an industrial park, consisting of several warehouses and a showroom in Georgetown, Guyana’s capital. Atlantic Marine Supply is a distributor/retailer of marine, oil, gas equipment and supplies in Georgetown, and the industrial park will be home to multiple companies with offices supporting the flourishing oil industry in the region.

Maximum Agility

Delivering steel buildings during the COVID-19 pandemic required a copious amount of expertise and the determination and resourcefulness to overcome challenges. Thankfully, this is where Allied shines. We have extensive experience in Guyana—with an impeccable reputation of reliably delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. During the pandemic, the entire industry experienced steel shortages and price escalations; however, Allied is adept at mitigating such risks by maintaining a robust network of partners who can provide the materials needed at competitive costs and without any major delays.

The Structures

We completed two buildings for Atlantic Marine Supply—one of which is an 80’x100’x29’ warehouse and showroom facility, featuring a mezzanine, loading dock, and a three-bay design for glass curtain walls. These two buildings were such a success that Atlantic Marine Supply has chosen us yet again to help them with two additional structures, which will be leased to oil-industry tenants. We are extremely honored to have been chosen for the next two buildings later this year, and are committed to delivering the same level of professionalism, expertise, and quality we’ve delivered in the past.
