Wayne Crowder is outside general counsel for Allied and has served in that capacity from the start of Allied’s business. Following college, Wayne served in a variety of command and staff roles in combat in the Republic of Viet Nam. Following graduation from law school at the University of Virginia, Wayne continued to serve in the Marine Corps in myriad roles in the States and overseas and culminated his service as the staff director for a political appointee in the Secretary of the Navy’s office providing program oversight to health care, housing, education and other quality of life issues. Wayne retired from the Marine Corps in 1993. Since retiring, Wayne has been general counsel to a multi-state corporation with 1,000 employees operating in 45 branch offices in more than 30 States, represented domestic and international clients in a broad spectrum of corporate transactional and compliance matters including mergers and acquisitions/divestitures, financings, and public and private securities offerings in a large international law firm and currently practices corporate law in his own firm in West Palm Beach. Wayne and Lyn, his wife of 45 years, have three grown children and six grandchildren, all of whom live in the Washington, DC area. Wayne is also a Board Member for the Wounded Warriors of South Florida and University of Virginia Club of the Palm Beaches.
