Job Description

The Account Manager position is a high impact position and directly contributes to the Company’s global sales  in targeted international markets and resulting substantial sales growth. The individual will utilize a multi-channel prospecting approach to deliver qualified opportunities to Allied’s international business.   This position will require the individual to utilize their Spanish speaking fluency on a frequent basis. A self starter and entrepreneurial disposition by nature, this candidate must have previous experience working in engineering and construction field prospecting, developing and managing customer relationships within international markets.


  • This individual will prospect potential clients, key influencers,  and existing clients in efforts to initiate action plan approach to secure new business
  • Contribute to Company success through collaboration with internal sales, engineering, estimators, and designers
  • Drive new opportunities by networking with targeted key influencers/clients/government commerce agencies
  • Learn Allied’s value proposition as a marquee provider of international building solutions by becoming product and process expert
  • Responsible for direct sales activities including consistent follow up, estimating, proposal creation, effective usage CRM software, liaising with Allied’s subject matter experts, effective customer relationship management and becoming a trusted advisor to the client

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Demonstrated international business experience; ability to travel from up to 50% of the time to Caribbean and Latin American markets
  • Ability to profile and prioritize new prospects and relationship opportunities
  • Experience in Construction, Architecture and Engineering industry; PEMB and structural steel  experience preferred but not required
  • Must be a goal-oriented, high energy individual contributor and team player with a high work ethic
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills
  • Exceptional thoroughness, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Exceptional organizational skills with proven ability to work in cross functional teams within the company
  • Technically proficient with software including, operating with a CRM, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD and an ability to learn new programs
  • Proficient communication skills both written and oral
  • Fluency in Spanish verbal and written; business level
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in international business, Architecture, Engineering or related field
