Ken Grant knew he needed to find an available building to expand his rental and storage business in North Carolina. He had looked around at various companies until he came across an Allied Steel flier.
Amongst all the buildings that Allied had to offer, Grant said that there was one that was already pre-engineered from a previous customer and it was lying unassembled on their property.
At 50’ X 95’, with an eave height of 16,’ the structure was exactly what he was looking for and within the money range he was willing to spend.
“We bought it for a decent price,” said Grant. “The building was modified to be larger, and it was sitting in Bristol, TN, ready to go.”
Allied Steel delivered the facility to Grant, and he was delighted with receiving it on time and with no problems.
“The delivery came in when it was supposed to,” said Grant. “Everything was there and nothing was defected or weathered from being outside. Sometimes you get that when you make orders as big as these, but Allied’s product was well made. I didn’t need to go through the trouble of contacting and re-ordering parts.”
As for putting up the building, Grant said he did it having had prior experience. He found that the blueprints were straight forward and that it took no time at all to put up the construction.
“I represented myself as the contractor,” said Grant. “It was relatively easy.”
Since the completion of the construction, he has rented out his building for business and storage units.
“Currently, we have a commercial business, Deckmaster, Inc, working out of the facility,” said Grant. “They have found it to be very good.”
When he initially searched for a pre-engineered building, Grant knew he needed something to help his business. He felt that Allied Steel gave him exactly what he needed.
“I would deal with Allied again,” said Grant. “The building was what they told me I was going to receive. It has worked great for what we needed to expand our business. |
