For David Freitag, who owns David’s Fine Hardwood Floors in Hot Springs, Arkansas, it’s important to have a good workshop to run his operations out of. He found great satisfaction with the building he purchased from Allied Steel.
“It’s exactly what I wanted,” said Freitag. “It is fantastic what I got from them.”
It was the 1st time Freitag wanted to buy a pre-engineered building so he did some research on the Internet and found Allied Steel Buildings. The company offered him a 25 X 30 X 14 structure that seemed to be what he was looking for.
“Originally, I wanted 8 ft tall doors instead of 10,” Freitag recalled. “It was just a matter of when I caught the building; I was only to get the 10s but that was fine. The whole thing was upgraded when I spoke to Allied, things like the roof and siding, etc. It was supposed to go up north, and had high snow load that was out of this world, but the people that purchased it cancelled at the last minute.”
At the end, the Sahara tan building with green trim was what he needed. “I bought it. It fit the bill.”
The process of putting up the building was also care free. Freitag had Steel Erections, a local contractor out of Hot Springs, put up his structure very quickly. It only took them a week to erect the building after they received it in mid-February 2006.
“They had no problem reading the blueprints as they do it all the time. They had all posts and roof crosses up in a day. Another day and a half later, they had put the sheeting on it. It really was fast and efficient.”
On top of having the erection go as planned, Freitag had no trouble reaching Allied’s Building Services Group whenever he needed advice on certain situation or instructions about the blueprints.
“Yeah, they were easily reachable and I had quite a few questions. I had no problems calling, and the person that I spoke to always helped me out to my complete satisfaction. Allied Steel did a great job. If I ever need another building, I know who to call…. GHOSTBUSTERS!
