Local Building Company Hits a Home Run with A-Rod
Allied Steel Buildings' diverse product range allows them to play in the major leagues
June 6, 2007 Fort Lauderdale, FL Florida-based Allied Steel Buildings has good reason to cheer for the Yankees this year, thanks to the continued success of baseball heavy hitter Alex Rodriquez (A-Rod). The pre-manufactured building company recently customized a batting cage for the two time MVP player at his Florida home and while it's clear that practice makes perfect, it certainly does not hurt to have the perfect place to practice.
"We're thrilled to see how well A-Rod is performing this year," says Michael Lassner, President, Allied Steel Buildings. "This was an exciting project for our team and while we know that we aren't responsible for A-Rod's skill and dedication to the game, we like to think our product helped play a role in his success."
The professional-sized, indoor batting cage at his Miami home was customized to meet A-Rod's exact specifications and if his batting average this year is anything to go by he has been putting it to good use.
"I was looking to build the perfect practice area at home, away from the spotlight to work on my batting and found the perfect solution with Allied," states A-Rod. "With my schedule I needed a hassle-free, speedy solution. My batting cage has to be one of the best features of my house now."
Allied Steel Buildings is having an outstanding year of its own, continuing to expand its business and demonstrate the diversity of steel to customers around the world. A-Rod's batting cage is an example of the variety and customization of Allied product offerings- from baseball batting cages to airplane hangars to strip malls, Allied has a building solution to meet a wide variety of needs.
